Learning about the world has always been a fascination of mine. Amazing landscapes, man made and natural sights, and each culture has its own unique traditions and characteristics. As early as high school, I vowed I would travel to a new place every year of my life. And I have! My passion was to experience the world! As a travel planner I’ve planned hundreds of vacations for individuals, families and group trips, small and large. What really drives me is planning and traveling with small groups. There is something so magical about exploring with people who have like interests, similar curiosity and a spirit of adventure.
My niche has developed as a group planner. I love to travel with my groups and do, whenever possible.

We welcome solo travelers to join our tours. I’m not talking about “singles” travel, solo travelers have various reasons for traveling alone and they are looking to have adventures, meet new friends, and find travel buddies.
I will match same gender roommates to save you money. If you want your own room, that is possible too, with an affordable solo supplement.
I am a solo traveler myself and dedicated to providing other solo travelers with information, resources, ideas and communication.

I just came back from a safari in Tanzania. It was the inaugural trip of Serengeti Vacationland Safaris headed by Allan Stevens and coordinated with Lorraine Whittemore of PlanUrEscape.
I had a great time. All arrangements for the trip worked out great especially tenting out in the Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park. With the help of guides and drivers, we were able to see over 150 different animals. It couldn’t have happened without them.
I highly recommend this trip if you want to do something different.
Lorraine was just wonderful in helping my Mom and I plan our trip to Italy. She had great recommendations on tours and booked us excellent places to stay.
